## Overview The DataSync API synchronizes your local data store with the data maintained by Anywhere. This API allows to retrieve the Company records that are added, updated, upserted or deleted. ## Use this API to - synchronize your local data store with the data maintained by Anywhere. - support your marketing needs and to read marketing data from RFG. - facilitate data synchronization, listing aggregation and data retrieval. - Use the "Active" method to do a one-time initialization of your data store. Use the "Delta" method for each entity type to the ongoing synchronization. The steps to use each synchronization methods are given in the method descriptions. A company should perform the data synchronization as follows: One-time Initialization - The one-time initialization is done only for a single time when you initialize the data into your system with the API for the first time.

Call the GetActiveListings method and this method gives all the active listings in the system. It also gives listingId and the lastupdateon for all the listings in the system.
Now, call the GetListingById and this method is to get the details of each of the listings.

Ongoing Synchronization

Call the Delta method for the listings. The frequency is 15 mins to 7 days, but the recommended frequency is 30 mins to 2 hours.
Make sure to add two-minute overlap between subsequent delta calls so that listings that are updated during the edge time is not missed.
The Delta response gives the list of Listings that are changed along with the full details of the listing.

Periodic Reconciliation - Periodic reconciliation is done weekly or biweekly or monthly to ensure that your system is in sync with Anywhere system.

Call the GetActiveListings method and compare the lastupdateon, the date which you got the Active Listings with the listing stored in your system. You should store the lastupdateon field from the Delta Response.
Call the GetListingById method for the listings for which the lastupdateon time is different.
